The time has finally come! Hockey fans have been waiting all year for the Stanley Cup Final! This year, the reigning Stanley Cup champs, the Pittsburgh Penguins, will be duking it out with newcomers, the Nashville Predators! This is the first time the Predators have EVER made it to the Stanley Cup Final! It’s sure to be an exciting series!

The best part is, you can win too by predicting in our Stanley Cup Final Tournament! The prizes may not be a big shiny cup, but they’re still pretty awesome: The Top Futurist will win a $50 Gift Card for Team Merch, while the #2-#10 Futurists will win a $20 Gift Card for Team Merch. We’re making it easy for you to get ready for next year’s hockey season! 😉

On top of all of that, you’ll be competing against New York Times Hockey Writer, Allan Kreda. Allan has covered the NHL for over two decades for the Associated Press, Bloomberg News, and since 2013, the New York Times. Though his primary focus is currently the Rangers and the Islanders, he is always eager to visit any venue beyond New York to research great hockey stories!

Cultural icon MTV just got even more icon-er.

For the 2017 edition of its renowned, “not your parents award show” MTV Movie Awards, the groundbreaking network breaks ground again by combining Movies and TV together, as well as women and men together in a slew of gender-neutral categories.

To commemorate this–and to feed our players’ incessant hunger for all things entertainment-related–PTF presents the MTV Movie and TV Awards Tournament–15 pop culture questions that will pop your brains as you try to pick winners amongst some of the greatest talents across showbiz today.

And you won’t be alone; you’ll be playing against two showbiz execs, deeply experienced beyond their young years, namely:

Entertainment Expert and Producer Jodi Lieberman
The former VH1 and Just For Laughs talent exec and co-founder of Comedy Gives Back now runs JLC Entertainment Group, a company that manages, develops, and produces with clients across all platforms, including TV, film and digital.

Talent Manager and Producer Marc Hamou
Now partner at Thruline Entertainment in L.A., Marc has a fine-tuned eye for talent honed over two decades of experience discovering and developing performers from the ground up. Current clients include Jay Baruchel (GOON), Emily VanCamp (Captain America) and Marc-Andre Grondin (CRAZY).

And you won’t be playing for nothing, either. Top point-getter takes home a $50 online shopping card, while the next nine each win a $20 card…ostensibly to buy movies and TV shows 😉
