PTF’s “YEAR IN A DAY” TOURNEY: THE LONG AND SHORT OF 2017

With its new “Year in a Day” Tournament, Play The Future is going long, and short, simultaneously.

For just 24 hours on January 1st, PTF players will be asked to take the long view on the upcoming year and make 12 predictions, one for each month. Results for said predictions will be revealed as they happen throughout the year, with the winners being crowned just in time for New Year’s Eve 2017.

Questions will run the gamut from the traditional (i.e. “Who will win the World Series?”) to the sublime (i.e. April Fools’), and will force PTF’s faithful futurists to take a wide and telescopic view–a full 12 months ahead of time!–on things that haven’t happened yet.

The wait will be be worth it though, as prizes follow the year-long theme. Top three “Year in a Day” point-getters will each take home a year’s worth of movie/tv streaming, to binge on shows and movies that most likely haven’t been made yet.

A long 365 days to think about. A short 24 hours in which to do so.

Destined to become an annual event. (Well…there’s OUR first prediction of 2017 ;))
